NEW REFRIGERANT R1234yf TESTING, SERVICE, AND REPAIR
Most vehicles now have air conditioning (a/c) and it keeps us cool in the summer and our windows mist-free in the winter. To get the best performance from your a/c it should be serviced every 2-3 years. This involves drawing out the existing refrigerant together with any moisture that has been absorbed into the system and then re-gassing with fresh refrigerant. Refrigerant will leak out of every vehicle over time and a re-gas will replace any loss in the system.
The pollen/cabin filter will be inspected and renewed if necessary, the evaporator drain checked for any obstruction, anti-bacteria treatment applied to the evaporator and correct operation of the system checked.
We can carry out a/c servicing, fault finding, leak detection, and repair to restore the integrity of the system. On a hot summer day, the pressure in the a/c system could be as high as 225psi – your tire pressures are about 35psi!
